L'auteur

Werner Gitt est né le 22 février 1937 à Raineck, en Prusse orientale. Après des études d’ingénieur, il devient assistant à l’Institut de Techniques de Régulation de l’Ecole Technique Supérieure d’Aix-la-Chapelle. Après deux ans de recherches, il obtient le titre de docteur-ingénieur. Depuis 1971, il dirige le département « Traitement de données » à l’Institut Fédéral Physico-Technique (PTB) de Braunschweig. En 1978, il est nommé directeur et professeur au PTB. En dehors de ses activités professionnelles, il travaille beaucoup sur la Bible. Dans le domaine « Science et Bible », il a publié de nombreux ouvrages et tenu beaucoup de conférences en Allemagne et à l’étranger en leur donnant toujours une orientation d’évangélisation. En 1966, il a épousé Marion. Ils ont eu deux enfants.
